PM Modi Inaugurates Projects Worth ₹5,400 Crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched, inaugurated, and laid foundation stones for multi-sector development projects worth ₹5,400 crore, spanning regional connectivity, power modernization, and green manufacturing.

Key Highlights

Infrastructure & Connectivity: Railway upgrades exceeding ₹1,400 crore—including the doubling of the 65-km Mahesana–Palanpur section—alongside major road expansions and power distribution modernization worth over ₹1,000 crore across Ahmedabad, Mehsana, and Gandhinagar.

Urban & Digital Upgrades: Comprehensive initiatives covering slum rehabilitation, water and sewerage networks, a new Stamps and Registration Building, and a state-level data storage center.

Green Mobility & Manufacturing: At Suzuki's Hansalpur facility, PM Modi inaugurated hybrid battery electrode production and flagged off the made-in-India e VITARA electric vehicle for global export to over 100 countries, driving domestic battery value manufacturing past 80% and advancing India's position as a clean-energy manufacturing hub.
